Queen Mya is one of the Sheriff’s dogs rescued by Turtle Gardens Animal Rescue. She was adopted by Steve and Jude of West Vancouver. In the words of her family:
Mya is strong, obedient, smart, caring, brave, gentle, and runs like the wind. She is completely at ease and in command of any situation – big dogs, little dogs, nervous noisy dogs, dominant bully dogs, cats, strangers, friends and the postman.
Mya will bark if necessary but almost needs a bear in the yard to set her off. She does a happy dance to be in the car even if it is going no where! On walks, she is always out front as a ‘lead sled dog’, but keeps an eye on her backtrail to ensure we are still there.
